Potentially? I think I've posted there once or twice before but I've never made a specific thread over there. I suppose that's something I should be doing.

Just thought I'd bump this thread with some more news. The Chromabox-4 is now routinely processing film during testing and I'll be hosting a demo-day at a local film lab soon to get more rolls of...
Two 4x5 sheets of Ektar. I took them last night and developed them this morning in the Chromabox automatic film developer I've been designing and building. Worked like a charm.
...
Three sheets of Ektar from the weekend. Overcast drizzly day but I think it really brought out the colours of the trees and didn't hurt the waterfalls at all.
...
Cross-post from the new products area, two sheets of FP4+ developed this morning, both of my partner sewing things for her side-business.
...
Big news update this time, the Chromabox has finally processed some film! It's been a while coming... Just two sheets of FP4+ 4x5 today but they turned out great (IMO). I've also confirmed that the...
Another blog post update, I now have a 4x5 sheet film holder in the machine and it looks like maaaybe it could take a 5x7 holder?

Duolab, yep there's a separate line into the machine (separate from the 6 x chemical lines) for wash water. The pre-programmed cycles will include washing between each chemical and also at the end...

New blog post up, new heating tank that's working well, some ease-of-use firmware updates, getting some parts injection moulded etc. I've also...
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'll definitely have to print them, too bad the largest I can do that at home is 13" wide but I'll probably have them done bigger externally.
Nice! I've never been up Ngauruhoe, I'll have to go sometime. All but one of those shots was at 135mm, the second one of my first post was 210mm. The tops of the peaks in the frame were a good few...
Just finished processing two more, both of these were on Ektar.

Hey all, I've recently put together an online gallery, blog and print store, you can follow the link below to have a look:

Most of the photos I've uploaded there are shot...
Hauled myself out of bed at 4am yesterday, drove 1.5 hours north and then hiked about 30 minutes to this spot (hiking at maximum speed because I could tell that the best light was already passing,...
New blog post is up, I've had a 'version 2' of the sheet metal parts manufactured and moved all of the prototype machine components onto that, looks a lot cleaner now and is super sturdy! I have to...
Mike, the heating tank is just over 600mL of chemicals, enough for 4 rolls of film. From what I've seen the break-even point of injection molding when compared to other techniques such as resin...
Coming up on the 1 year anniversary of starting the project, I've had a lot of life getting in the way recently and that always takes precedence but now I'm trying to get back on track and have made...
Haven't posted in a while, here are three shots from the same trip to a local beach (which is exceptionally hard to get to).
This one is velvia 50, dynamic range was a bit too much for slide film...
Two shots on Provia 100 4x5 slide film.

Some 4x5 shots on Portra 400 that I ended up cropping square, my chemistry is exhausted so they came out a little grainy and I'm not sure about the compositions but I really enjoyed getting out for...
A re-edit of an old large format photo now that we have so much time... Ektar 100, somewhere out behind Anawhata beach in New Zealand.

ic-racer I've replied to your comments above in bold. The Chromabox-4 is much smaller than the JOBO CPP2 and because it doesn't use a water bath to heat chemicals it doesn't take a long time to get...
Enjoy your phototherm while it lasts!
Managed to print enough valve parts to retrofit the prototype and the leaking is gone. I've also got the heater systems up and running nicely. Here's a really short teaser video of the Chromabox-4 in...
New blog post up and new name for the machine, it's now officially the Chromabox-4
I'm struggling with my ancient 3D printer while in isolation so I'm looking for suggestions for when I'm able to...
Cheers! I'm using a Sony A7RII camera with nikon 60mm macro lens, a copy stand and LED light table to 'scan' my pictures. Two photos per 4x5 negative stitched together gives me plenty of resolution...

Midtone RFP-4? (rapid film processor 4, for 4 rolls of 35mm per tank)
Another new blog post, new company logo and some website updates: http://midtonemachines.com/news/new-logo-shout-outs-and-progress/
The machine is now fully capable of processing B&W, I'm actually...
Haven't actually used any of the JOBO reels, I'll have to get my hands on some for testing. If they're smaller then maybe it would only require a different spindle to take them in the same tank...
Four hour exposure of a hut in New Zealand on Provia 100 slide film, unfortunately patchy cloud and a nearly full moon meant that I didn't get the star trails I was looking for.
...
These three are from a wilderness hut in the Whirinaki forest, New Zealand. The hut was built by deer hunters in the 60's, currently used by hikers and maintained by the department of conservation...
I'm actually in New Zealand, those are from the east coast of the central north island, Whirinaki forest.
Hiking for three days in the wilderness with a large format camera is pretty hard on the legs! Got a few nice images through, slowly working through developing and scanning them.
...
Thanks for the support!. The cover will eventually be thick vacuum formed plastic but I need to get an idea of production volumes before I get them made, the wooden cover allows me to progress with...
Just a short video update for today, showing the LCD screen and user interface that you'll use to operate the machine. Also the developing tank filling and draining with water while the agitation...

More New Zealand west coast, unfortunately really thick cloud rolled through before the light got any good, shot still turned out ok though.

More progress, new custom PCBs are in and they've done a great job clearing up all the wiring mess, a much better solution for production. A few niggles with the pinch valves are holding me back a...
