  4. Poll: Re: Seeking 4x5 Lens Advice - Which Lens To Keep - Fujinon Or Nikkor 150mm 5.6

Alan, at f/22 most lenses will be the same (in performance). One can split hairs about performance at f/8 or /11, and perhaps talk about out-of-focus rendering or image circle differences, but if...

    Re: Neutral Density filter advice?

It has a focal plane shutter that can do 1/1000 shutter speed. I have shot slow film at f/2.5 in daylight using my Speed at 1/1000 or so. Should be about right for shade with Instax. I've also seen...

    Re: Neutral Density filter advice?

Another option would be a Speed Graphic, at least for the 7 1/2 and 9 1/2 (if not focused super close). If it were me I'd do that, and then find a couple mid-tier screw-in NDs for the 12" and adapt...

Re: extended red sensitivity panchromatic b/w

You can check the spectral sensitivity from the film's data sheet.

But there's also the Ilford SFX and Rollei 400 IR films that are near-IR or in other words, extended-red, so maybe that?

  30. Re: Chamonix 45N-1 Classic? Does 47mm minimum bellows draw allow movements?

Neither the 47xl or 58xl has really enough ic for significant front movements anyway. You can use them on the Chamonix though, even without a recessed board. Use a bit of rear tilt if you need.

Re: Which field camera for usage with 90mm lens

Just get a used Chamonix if the new price is too high. Any model is good. "Universal" bellows will be best for large movements. A monorail is a cheap alternative with a large weight penalty.
