    A 100mm Wide Field Ektar and a 8+1/2 inch Commercial Ektar.

    They make lovely pictures if I get things right.

    I fitted a new bellows to my Technika iii this year.

    Hopefully it will still be good in another seventy years or so...

    If I wanted one with a rangefinder I would go for a Master Technika.

    They have to go past the point of full compression to lock.

    Came to me recently along with a side rangefinder Crown Graphic that had a '47 Ektar 127F4.5 on it.

    I made the measurement from an earlier style of Technika iii front standard.

    The type with the folding wire frame viewfinder.



    It would be no harm to check the camera in question.

    I have a Technika iii standard with a 70.8mm hole for reference.

    The hole in a Technika iv is 84mm wide.

    My wide angle for the Technika is a 100/6.3 Wide Field Ektar.

    They are tiny compared...

    At home I shoot a Linhof 45s monorail on a 5 series Gitzo.

    It's rock solid.

    It's very heavy.

    I use a 3kg Technika and a 3kg Linhof alloy tripod for "away from the house" images.

    It works...
