    Re: B&J Rembrandt 5X7 & 8X10

Per my 1962 B&J catalogue, the 8x10 Rembrandt back adjustments included rise, fall, swing, and tilt. (catalogue actually says "swing or tilt" which I think is a typo. Over the years have found many...

Had to be to hide the wood and grain. Have restored 3 B&J Rembrandt cameras over the years. On two of them the same wood was used and the grain very much matched. On the 3rd, not only did the grain...
  3. Re: Is it a linear progression between 90mm and 150mm?

At one time I owned a 115mm Grandagon and a 120mm Angulon. I can only surmise that the Grandagon was a tad longer that 115mm and the Angulon a tad shorter than 120mm because the images cast by both...

  5. Re: Tripods: Is Carbon Fiber worth the extra cost?

Yes... You can save money by acquiring a previous model CF tripod instead of shelling out for the latest model. A while back the Gitzo GT1541 CF tripod was replaced with the GT1542? model. Kept on...

    Re: Decoding Jobo Gear.

Haven't processed prints in JOBO drums for probably 20+ years. Did go back to my darkroom notes and found:

    Re: Decoding Jobo Gear.

I'd seriously advise you to acquire a few older JOBO catalogues, then you will have references to go by to decode JOBO items.

I and others use JOPO "print" tubes to process film with no problems....
