    Then why flat field?
  2. Re: Some tests rank-ordering a variety of classic and modern LF lenses

Tested within the optimization range of the lenses? Optimal magnification ratio? If not for copy work at different field curvatures?
  3. Re: Travelers: New X-ray machines WILL ruin your film

Then you should try it as you arenít getting an answer here.
  4. Re: Travelers: New X-ray machines WILL ruin your film

They can get the information you want divulged. But you could also ask PMA or NPPA or ASMP or even Nat Geo or a large news paper.
  5. Re: Looking For Lab That Can Process 4x5 Color Negatives

    They can tell you that.
  6. Re: Travelers: New X-ray machines WILL ruin your film

Re: What Happened to Dry Mounting Prints?

Seal had removable dry mount tissue. Donít know what happened to it but you might check with some archival storage/mounting and art supply dealers if it or something similar is still available.

    Have you asked them?
Are you using fresh dated, properly stored film?
  9. Re: Small Cable For Linhof Recessed Lens Board?

Bad answer, a service center will be cheaper and probably have it in stock. Camera and video stores are not the best place for repair parts. But they are great for accessories!
  10. Re: 035293 Eyecup for Rangefinder of Linhof Master Technika

Linhof.de; Precision Camera in IL; Nippon in NYC or any other Linhof factory in Munich or Linhof service center.

  12. Re: Small Cable For Linhof Recessed Lens Board?

If you look closely you will see differences in the qr block on the board.
  13. Re: Small Cable For Linhof Recessed Lens Board?

They are part of Linhof qr boards. You would have to ask them. But they wonít work with the qr boards that use the wire connection.
  14. Re: how do you shoot 1 to 3 second exposures

But to do that you have to touch and recock and fire the shutter each time, that is a great recipe for vibration.
Touch the camera and lens as infrequently as possible for an exposure.

  20. Re: Best Method For Getting 300mm Bellows Draw on Linhof Master Technika?

Your 240 is in a 3 shutter and it was probably mounted on the board without the spacer ring that comes with the shutter. That is why it has the rubbing problem.
  21. Re: Best Method For Getting 300mm Bellows Draw on Linhof Master Technika?

You may need a extended lens board like the Wista one. Depends if the flange focal length of your lens is longer then the total bellows available.
The Wista board has three threaded extensions and...
