The bottom of the bellows have somehow become warped upwards. It blocks the top of the negative from being exposed. Any way to fix this myself or do I need the bellows replaced? 205546
Agreed. That is how I determined what 150mm I would get. However it's lack of info about the SS-XL series is why I came here with this question. Can anybody else confirm Oren Grad's post?
I was wondering if the 80mm f/4.5 Schneider Super Symmar XL would fit?
Got to borrow a DSLR to preview some lighting and I am.very satisfied with bouncing off of the ceiling or umbrella. Only thing I wanted to double check on was compensating the exposure for the...
xkaes thank you for how to do that. My question was not worded the best. There wont alway be a windows where i'll be but I was just wondering how to do that just incase. As far as fill lighting i...
I'll be shooting 4x5 400 portra and have one (1) alienbee 1600. I'll be looking to shoot indoors during the day. When I meter in most places I don't have enough light I'm only a stop or two away from...
what camera, lens, and film were you shooting with?
could i get a shoe adapter to hold 2 flashes? just a pc sync cable splitter would be needed right?
have you ever used one?
i've read that they are not powerful enough for large format. i have a cold shoe on my camera and would like to know of an on camera flash that will be powerful enough. i'll be shooting indoors, 400...
i'll put it this way: i am in no position to buy another lens. as i said before the lens fitting isn't a huge deal to me and really just have to work around it if possible. that being said is a cable...
and what would those be? i made this thread with the intention of finding the "recommended lenses"
even with the cable release removed this is as far as it will close:

also the lensboard will not even attach onto the camera unless it is situated at the top. again this is making me wonder...
sorry for the double post. didn't think this warrants a new thread.
so i'm over the camera not closing.. not that big of a deal. am still curious why mine does not fit though. anyways, i really...
@toyo
your camera closes with the fujinon 150?
edit:
i am confused as to why mine does not fit:

in addition to that it will not even slide back into the camera with the release...
the way many backpacks carry tripods I fear will not be able to handle the weight of the tripod
example:

was hoping somebody had experience using a manfrotto 3051 in the field. i understand it is quite heavy but i have used one and like how sturdy it is. does anybody know of a camera backpack that can...
what cable release do you use/ does it also fit?
sorry about the link.
i am not that concerned with time only convenience of having a lens that will fit inside so I do not have to carry it separate. the shooting i will be doing will be spur of...

is tape needed with this camera/ is the back release lever a problem for you?
am considering a Rodenstock 135mm Sironar-N but was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for a 150mm that would fit inside of horseman 45hd when it is closed
thanks

would the rodenstock 135 fit inside the 45hd when it is closed?
thank you for the suggestions. after looking at and learning about the horseman 45fa i think i will go with that. can anybody recommend a 150mm lens that will fit inside of it folded up?
I'm currently stuck in between the horseman 45fa or toyoview 45cf but regardless of which one I get I believe both have a cold shoe. Anyways thank you for your suggestions! I like the looks of the...
Was looking for suggestions on flashes that would suffice for indoor/low lighting situations. I'm trying to keep my setup light and portable so I would prefer it be an on camera flash that could...
i was looking at the toyo 45cf as it seems very portable. i have also seen mixed reviews on it though so was looking for an alternative that could also keep the lens on and fold up/is portable and is...
