  4. Re: Want to get my dusty old Durst L184 in working shape

Is the LAZUCO 181 condenser lens necessary? My enlarger doesn't seem to have one, yet it was apparently used for years. I can't imagine the guy who sold it to me would include the entire set of...

Researching the stuff I have in boxes shows that I have 1) Nega 205 and 2) of the pin registered holders. All 10x10.

I have 2) of the Grane 205 holders. What's the difference between the Grand 205 and the NEGA 205?

    Lamp Upgrade for Durst 138S

I don't think the Jensen light source is only point source. From their marketing literature, it sounds like they put a diffuser globe in the light path to simulate the original lamp bulb shape.

    Long Term Frozen Storage

    Well,

You could lay in a multi-year supply and cycle through it - adding new film as you pull boxes out.

    Preferred focusing loupe?

Calumet has two versions: a 7x Calumet branded loupe and a 3x Toyo.

Is there a preference for either one? Is 7X magnification too much?

    Thanks,

    Joe
