if Ansel was alive and testing glass (died in 1984) this could be in the 1970s when a fraction of the lenses were multi-coated and versions of multi-coatings were improving.

Re: schneider center filter on rodenstock lens?

  21. Re: APO Sironar S lenses in 300mm + in today's market

Re: advise on expanding my lens setup

In my opinion, your options are clear: Fujinon SWD 90/5,6 or if you find it very close to the SWD 75/5,6, try the superb Fujinon SW 105/8, which has a nice 250 mm image circle. I used this lens and...

Re: Polarizer for 150mm SS XL with CF

  27. Re: Filter Kit and Universal Adapter suggestions for 4x5

As Corran says, buy some steep up rings and use real glass filters. If you have a 90mm rodenstock, can be 82 or 67 mm, depending on which version you have. Iīd pick larger size filters (86 or 72 mm)...

  31. Re: Fuji 250 6.3 or 250 6.7, I am confused? Is one superior to another in 8x10 Use?

  32. Re: Fuji 250 6.3 or 250 6.7, I am confused? Is one superior to another in 8x10 Use?

  33. Re: Fuji 250 6.3 or 250 6.7, I am confused? Is one superior to another in 8x10 Use?

    Re: Nikon Nikkor SW 90mm f/8 vs. 90mm f/4.5?

The Nikkor SW 90/4,5 uses 82mm filters. 85mm filters are very rare but I have seen a couple of lenses with 85 mm filter thread. Rodenstock apo Ronars 9/600 and 14/890 have a 85 mm filter thread.
