Thanks, Peter. I avoid IR portraits like the plague. Stick to buildings and landscapes.
A good thing to keep in mind is there are no rules or a right way to process IR.

We made a short video with the new Atlas 42-L4 tripod:

Yup
Thank you!
Thanks, Sandy.
Sorry, I mis-represent the format option. I have yet to stitch on the GFX, the files are large enough for now.
It conforms to the 6x17 aspect, but it's a sensor crop done in-camera....
Thanks, Jon.
Good to know, thanks fellas!
I like the R72 filter as well, Peter.
I've been enjoying the 617 format on the GFX more and more lately.
One question for anyone seeing these: do they look very bright on your screen? I...
The following are now in stock:
Atlas 42-L4 tripod

HB-100 leveling ball
Thanks!
Thanks, Jon.

A well-printed pano is quite impressive!
Thanks again, Joshua.
I'm not sure why I got different-looking prints, but that was early on in my Canon printer experience. So most likely user error.
The standalone doesn't work for me as it will...
Indeed. I'm even more impressed by this winter now, and this opens a lot more possibilities that I previously didn't think were options.
Using Canon PPL worked! The printer just grabbed the paper and off it went.
So now I have an option for printing 17x50" panos (actual paper size is 17x 47.24").
Thanks for all your help!
Thanks, Joshua.
I just re-installed PPL, it was acting up in LR and it's still not showing up at all in PS.
I'm going to try again tomorrow, and if necessary, I'll attach some screen shots.

It doesn't do rolls, so I have to cut a long piece from a roll.
For this size I have to create a custom paper size in the printer settings, then apply that prior to printing.
Anyone try to print a big panorama on the Canon pro-1000?
I'm trying to do a 16x46" from a piece of paper cut from a roll.
I followed this guy's video, but the printer would take the paper, and...
Good to see someone's been busy...
Good choice of subject for IR, Peter. Well done!
Thanks Jon, Tuco.
This is a forest adjoining our neighborhood, the remnant of a tornado of almost 4 years ago.
Thanks, Peter.

One 8x10, three lenses.
That's it.
For those who want to fully embrace the rigidity and stability offered by the Atlas tripods, we'll be offering kits with each Atlas tripod.

I don't have longer lenses than a 12" Ektar, but I do have heavier lenses.
Here's the CP26-TM2 tripod with the Schneider 210 XL. Such a thin-tubed tripod does cause the camera to vibrate, but it's...
Thank you!
This means the L2 is not far off, hopefully just a couple more weeks.
Hi Gabriel.
Yes, it's a Wehman.
As tested, with the Ysarex 210 and a loaded film holder, it weighs 11.3 pounds or 5.15kg.
Here we are, one month since my last post, and I have some good news.
Sometime next week, likely by Monday, I'll receive a small first delivery of these items:
Atlas 42-L4 tripod
QLB-80 clamp
...
I've only been to Peru, but I wouldn't rely on labs there.
My 120 film came back very unevenly processed, along with an ungodly amount of dust and fingerprints.
I think I threw the film in the...

Congrats! Great camera, especially for those 360mm plasmats.
Side note: I found a solution for a lens hood for large lenses like these.
I bought this off Amazon:...
Good choice, Peter.
Who did the work?
Further to your question, Sandy: yes, there is a hotspot with the 35-70.
It seems to affect yellow and green mostly. It's not much of an issue with this lens, I don't find I need to correct it most...
Sandy,
The lens is a good candidate if only for its AF capability and light weight. It shows a mild hot spot that is more pronounced in color. It's almost non-existent in B&W.
Either way, it's...

The older Rokkors are really special, I agree. I'd even include the generation that includes the mid-70s Rokkors.
I have the 58mm f/1.2, 45mm f/2 and 28mm f/2.5, and the last two are very good with...
