Very nice....as always!
2nd that. I never re-use any fixer
Is it possible that your scanner is the issue? What does a comparison of the negatives show. You should have no problem getting sharp images with the lenses you mention.
All the details of the Zone VI notwithstanding, I think my choice of 5x7 enlarger, would depend on what i could find locally. I was lucky enough to find a Durst 138 which has served me well. Shipping...
With the installation of new scanners in airports i am planning to buy film in Europe and (the shock!) have it processed before my return. I'm looking for 120 and some 35. (TMax, FP4, TMax 400). I...
I just measured my Beseler 45MXT & it would work..... but i use the Zone VI VC head..... You'd save even more height by using a simple cold light head. But you might be squeezed for room for your...

Thanks Eric....still using that big ole dry mount press you sold me years back!
223104 & if space is a big consideration for travel... the Plaubel Makina 67/670 is a fine choice too.
It was the paper.... i can get close with Ilford Warmtone....but i'm about to print it on Ilford Art 300. The paper is unforunately long gone... i have a little Fortezo graded left.
Any MF film camera will do the trick....& leave you with negatives to print from

Roberto, those times look about the same as mine for most 100/400films.
My experience with Foma films is that i cannot get enough shadow detail at box speed.
Perhaps those who have used lots of...
Not having access to an 8x10 enlarger, I'm going to get Bob Carnie to make me an enlarged 8"X20" negative so i can make a larger print of this image either on Ilford WT FB or Art 300.

The photo is in the famous Bugaboo group of the Purcell Mountains. I've never used an original Mamiya 6 ... but i don't imagine the finder is much to write home about. An Ikonta or Super Ikonta...
This one with a Fuji 6x9. I loved that Mamiya 6....great lenses (especially the 50mm) & w the lens collapsed ...as small & light as a Leica. Love those big negatives in the darkroom.

Martin, Yes it is..... any unsharpness is because it's a handheld iphone photo of the print
N, each enlarger takes a specific bulb. If you take out the old bulb you'll likely see some numbers on it, and the type of socket it fits. It is not however uncommon for bulbs to be used in different...

Nicely done. The out-of-focus background really adds to the mood of the photograph.

If i have more than 2 rolls of 120, then i put a towel in the bottom of my sink & roll the tank..... i've not had problems with uneven agitation.
Ari, I commend you on your honesty. I wouldn't send my film out either. At the end of long trips (pre-Covid) i've found myself with lots of film to be processed. I still tray develop the LF film, but...
Norly, I would consider your supply chain. Have you spoken to the dealer who sold you the film ? Then certainly I would contact Kodak. I continue to use Kodak film (& others) until it's no longer...
Chauncey, would you care to elaborate, seeing as how those 138 lensboards are about the size of a small dinner plate...

Absolutely stunning Tuco!
I agree with John. I would not send films thinly packaged. Several years ago, I received a CD in a flat cardboard mailer. The CD itself was also in a cardboard case. The postage stamp cancelled mark...

There are lots of fine used lenses around, and shutters can always be serviced. I can't see a big surge in new shutters any time soon. The big question to me is about disposable supplies like film...
