Forgot to mention I only use A4 paper, just tried the matte paper support that did not solve problem, I know its for use with A5 but anything is worth a try.

I am doing all you mentioned, is it normal when I go to configuration - source scanner that the scanner I am using is not listed as a choice.

I am using pro mode.

On my V750 When I click on Configuration - Source ( scanner ) the V750 is not listed as an option, also clicking on film size only gives me roll film sizes, 5x4 and 10x8 are not listed.

I also found that version on their web site, when searching 2.53,would that cure my problem if I downloaded that instead.

yes scanner did come with silverfast, with epson software scans are awful, with silverfast I get better scans,just wandered if there is anything better out there.

I am using Epson v750 Pro, 5x4 and 8x10.
Interested in making handmade books, largest print size would be 8x10.
