Re: Cameras with geared swing movement

Cost and complexity is likely why single lock knob/lever was not done on the 45N-2. IMO, as a light weight field folder rear camera movements are not often used and the majority of images made does...

Re: Cameras with geared swing movement

Ponder why SO many photographers used Sinar back in the day when 4x5 color transparency sheet film images were the primary means to printed color media?

Sinar is not just a view camera, it is a...

  29. Re: 8x10" at which length, is an auxiliary bellows support necessary?

  31. Re: 8x10" at which length, is an auxiliary bellows support necessary?

Re: Using filters on LF lenses

Gel filters do not like getting wet... They are very fragile and easy to damage. Good high quality dye in mass glass filters hold up good for all the correct reasons.

  37. Re: Film Developing Rant and CineStill DF96 Monobath - Am I Lazy?

  38. Re: Film Developing Rant and CineStill DF96 Monobath - Am I Lazy?

Processing film is much the same as loading sheet film, all part of the image making process. Mono bath B&W processing has zero appeal due to the limited film developer choices and their results. For...
