    That is a production number. It is used to match parts up after finishing. It is stamped on all 3 rail parts.
    If it was a serial number there is more then two with the same number.

    The camera made down south had parts made with stainless steel. Deardorffs made in Chicago had no stainless steel. Part were nickel plated.

    Top part get screwed to the body of the camera.
    Second part slides in the part screwed fast to the body. The right hand hole goes to the bottom of the camera. It gets a 3 /16 shaft thru both sides....

    You are missing a very important part. It is the base of the front standard. It is an "L" shape part with two "T"post that connect to the metal base.

    It was not made by Wisner. The rails of the Wisner were thicker and the mane plate had Made By Wisner.
    The name plate on the camera shown said made by Zone VI.

    I have most of the parts for the Zone VI in stock or the parts can be made. Bellows wear out and are available. The springs if they loss there holding power take them off and reform the springs.

    When Zone VI sold the time both types of foot switches were used. It just depended on what was in stock. They both work with the timer.
