Hi,
Rodenstock recommanded the Rodagon 360 for magnifications 2x to 8x, optimum at 2.5x.
Film size up to 10x12".
Should be great for color, most important is to have a clear lens without...
Very nice! Well done.
Just a "wow" by me!

Fascinating camera!
Well,
I have used a Berlebach tripod (Berlebach Report line) with reversed column with a Technika. Works fine.
I use and prefer a normal tripod, not a smallish one.
It's about 4x5" macro...

Hi,

Very impressive!
Never liked my own results...

Hi,
you could check out vintage Slip-on and Aufsteckfilter (A37) in 37mm on german Ebay.
Zeiss-Ikon or Lifa made high quality ones.
Sure ND's are not as common as yellow...
Jens
Hi,
looks very nice, I like the plasticity here.
Well done.
Jens
Hi,
correct, hart means high contrast, like old Brovira Grade 4 was called BH not BW (W=weich).
A dense negative is dicht.

Well, I prefer https://www.largeformatphotography.info and https://www.photrio.com.
Great places here about silver based photography!

Hi Bernice,

What kind of table is this? Never seen such.
Best wishes to you

A Jobo 3010, hand rolled works fine... for more comfort a motor roller or CPP.
Up to ten sheets at a time.
:-) Cat holder?!? Rat holder?
No, for the unused parts of an uncut roll of film to rest.
In short: T needs two "clicks"!
B: Press the cable release to open, hold to make exposure, close by taking pressure off.

Hi,
a focal lengh imprint in mm is uncommon for pre war Zeiss lenses (exept close up/micro or microscope optics).

Hi,
I like circular images.
Some of my microscope cameras are made for roundish images only.
Like the 1930s Zeiss Miflex, a 6.5/9cm plate camera used here:

Salut Emmanuel,
old Compurs, I know what you are talking about! I love to use my pre-war Rolleiflex originals...
The Schreck cable releases look like my ones, I wouldn't be surprised if those...
Hi,
+1 to what Bob said...
The Shutter control works very well, but I don't use it outdoors because it is clunky and heavy.
So two cable releases are my choice here.
I prefer Prontor Prof. (and...
Hi Alex,
gratulations, you could get a legendary lens! 8 elements in 2 groups!
With both elements you have a 1:6.3/105mm lens. It covers 7 x 10 cm wide open and 10 x 13 cm stopped down - so fine...

+1, i got me a mint Grandagon-N 4.5/75mm in black Compur 0 for 250 Euro last year.
Great Lens, I love it, much easier to set focus than with my 8/90mm.

Hi,
I think one problem with old brass is that some people find it a good idea to polish all lacquer (zapon or similar) off. They don't apply any new lacque. The blank brass now looks shiny for...
Hi,
the Apo-Grandagon 4.5/55 is one of the greatest lenses I ever used.
Mostly with center filter (Rodenstock) at f16 on 4x5".
If You don't need the extra angle of the SA 47XL, take the 55.

Hi,
mostly I take yellow light (B+W 021, 8) or yellow (B+W 022, 12), sometimes orange (22) or greenish yellow (11).
But it depends on your preferences, so I would say: Take all the filters you...
