    Home Depot. Aluminum with centering and longitudinal scales. Etched and filled markings. 36 inch was less than 5 bucks. 48 inch (none in stock) was marked at about 7 bucks.

    Old film boxes. Marked appropriately. Never bothered with separators and never had a scratch or archival problem. If using airlines, I let them X-ray my hand carried film rather than chancing them...
