    Re: 31.15mm Threads?

I had a lens from a Conley 5x7 that had a faulty Wollensak piston shutter. The lens cells swapped directly into an Alphax shutter (#2?)...also made by Wollensak.

Re: goerz apochromat artar 19" f:11

According to SK Grimes, it will require a #4 shutter.
I have the earlier non-Red Dot, and will be sending it to them to have them mount it in an Alphax #4.

Re: Having trouble deleting old attachments

    Re-opening/ deleting/re-closing worked.
Tedious process, but got the job done.
In future posts, I will delete before closing threads...
no sense in storing photos of long-gone items.

Re: Having trouble deleting old attachments

When I go to My Settings>Miscellaneous>Attachments, the attachments all show up. The only ones selectable are ones in live posts. The images in closed posts are not selectable, therefore undeletable.

  14. Re: newb question - residue on hands after loading film

Is the residue dry and flakey?
If so, maybe the lining of the dark bag is deteriorating.
    Is the residue moist ?
Maybe your sweat is dissolving the anti-halation backing off the film.
    I wouldn't...

You need to send them the old bellows, preferably in the frames.
They made a replacement bellows for my Eastman 33A 5x7, and it's beautiful.
    My bellows cost about $250...

    I agree with Dan.
Looks to me like a lens board for a 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 Anniversary Speed Graphic... probably fits others, too.
    YMMV

Edit: Jim posted a more comprehensive list
