    I looked inside a u-haul camera obscura.

    I have a kodak 2d 7x11

    I think I saw an 11x14 once out at crown point...

    One thing I do prior to storage is put a thin cotton sheet over the tent. I then loosely roll it up and put it in a box. This adds a layer of separation so none of the tent is folded up against...

    There shouldn't be much star movement at 15 seconds... It is more likely Coma towards the corners of the lens that is exacerbated by processing - especially since shot wide open.

    two guesses, but only guesses.

    I) The beige towel has a greater capacity to throw light, as such it throws light in many directions and causes flare in the lens/camera/film. thus a brighter zone...
