Christopher, I've had consistent results processing in Jobo 3005 tank mounted on a rolling base.

Re: Good 3rd-Party OEM inks for Epson?

    Thanks Sandy, Randy, domaz.
I've had success with expired cartridges, and I needed one in a pinch so that's what I bought for now.
But I'll research the Cone color set some more. After an initial...

Good 3rd-Party OEM inks for Epson?

I have an Epson 4880, inks are running low, and I'm looking for good alternatives to the Epson ink, which is getting less affordable.
Was hoping to find 220mL ink cartridges from a 3rd-party...

Re: 8x10 Wide Angle Lenses for Still Life

The problem with many 210s is adequate coverage. Unless you spend $4K on a 210XL, you won't get too much from a lens in terms of movements on 8x10.
If you don't need movements, then the number of...

Re: Troubleshooting, or What the Hell Is That?

Mark, no I didn't move the plane. The plate holder already has plastic bits at all four corners to keep the plate at the plane of focus.

Re: Troubleshooting, or What the Hell Is That?

That sounds very plausible, Paul. The whole 8x10 plate experience was a comic fiasco, the dark box was way too small. I had the Benny Hill theme song in my head the whole time.
    It was likely exposed...

    Holder works fine, thanks.

Re: Troubleshooting, or What the Hell Is That?

Yeah, Randy, I thought perhaps it was the aluminum.
But I just checked my finished plates, and the Lund plates show the same thing.
    Finicky business, this wet plate.
