JWebb, love the St. Simon's storm. Been there multiple times but never seen that. Occasionally see decent storms out on the Gulf in Mississippi.

Re: Question about Intrepid enlarger kit

Apparently some Toyo 45A cameras, as discovered online, have spring backs. You would have to find a Graflok-style back of the same type for your camera. I'm not terribly familiar with Toyo's "Field"...

Re: Question about Intrepid enlarger kit

I know, now, that those are the frame springs but to the untrained eye they don't look like springs. I remember it took some doing to figure that out when I got my 6x12 back and tried to use it on my...

Re: Question about Intrepid enlarger kit

On the top and bottom of your rear frame, just above and below the ground glass, there should be two little knurled buttons that are what you need to push and slide off the back to reveal the Graflok...

Very old image and not a great scan but this was on the street in very dim conditions, on Tri-X 320 pushed to about 2500 in Acufine, shot handheld with a Speed Graphic and Kodak Aero-Ektar:

I use the same "revised" Delta 100 recommendations for T-Max 100 and they both seem fine with the same data.

Re: Imaging-themed source for business cards

Nobody uses the phone anymore anyway so email is fine. But I doubt scammers are collecting contact info from random business cards so I don't think it'll be an issue either way.

    Re: Odd Linhof Adapter Board

I checked and both my adapter boards have 65mm holes, and the Technika (70, IV, V) boards I have all have roughly 65mm ridges that slot right in.

Out of my lens boards, I have one that is slightly...

I could be wrong but at one point I think I heard Blurb was outsourcing printing to whomever was cheapest at the time, so consistency across different time periods was even an issue. May not matter...

    Re: Large format Astrophotography

Using a 150mm lens this implies a bellows extension of well over 300mm (1:1) right?

Seems...improbable. That also needs to be mounted and moving on a equatorial mount.

Re: Justify the acquiring of a new Linhof Technika?

A (new) Technika (made for film) is definitely a luxury product. It's no surprise that used Master Technikas sell for $600-$1000 despite selling "new" at B&H for $13,000 now. I don't really care what...
