    Re: Doors

The columns was a pain to print. Bottom half is 6 seconds and the top 3 seconds. I tried to dodge the door to lighten it, but not much you can do with three seconds. Then again I'm still learning in...

Re: New Ilford film came unsealed

I'm actually going to do the same thing as soon as I get the enlarger lens for my durst enlarger. My dad's birthday is this month. I took a picture at Christmas of his dog with HP5 pushed to 1600.

Re: Which paper finish for landscape

I think I will try the glossy. Especially since I like punchy prints and it sounds like it's not as glossy as RC paper.

    Which paper finish for landscape

I'd like to order some 16x20 FB paper and I'm kinda partial to matte finishes, but not sure what landscapes and woodland would look best on. The only other subject I'd probably print that large would...

    Re: Push 400 to 800 in HC110

I've pushed HP5+ to 1600 and developed in HC110. It was 120 film though. Not sure how much of a difference that makes. I was very happy with the results following the massive dev chart. 1+31@ 11...

This is split contrast, contrast 5 for 8 seconds then contrast 0 for 45 seconds, dodging the bottom for the first 30 seconds.

    45mxt and contrast filters

I'm just about ready to print. The question I have is do you trim the filters to fit since the filter tray is rounded at one end and the filters are square?
