    Yes it's meant to have a very dark white point. Making it to bright takes away a lot of the mood I think. It becomes to up-front so to say.

    Had to wait a fairly long time before the sun broke through. And I saw the scene with the background lit up and a darker foreground. But that didn't happen. Came out good the other way round...

    Well, no. It's been tested and I think it is fairly safe as long as water goes. Well filtered and clean.
    Only water though, wine would have been nicer.

    I can get 6300 ppi on 35mm frame at 100%

    I'm not really sure I understand but...
    At least my Imacon (The Flextight III) has a fixed upper limit on 8000 pixels in width. This can be scaled to any format.
    So it matters which way the film is...

    Constructing a filter holder from scratch is somewhat basic as far as modeling goes. But that said you need a basic knowledge of 3D modeling and construction. Otherwise the learning curve is steep....

    Well that is exactly what we did. Run it to the top, wrapped it in loads of bubble wrap, and dismounted it from the baseboard. Worked fine. 500 miles later :D

    Came with 8,25 inch Red Dot Artar
    Needs and will get a bit of love but is in working condition....
