How often do you print? Do you stock way more paper than you can use in a year? Storing paper in sub freezing conditions and removing to use then refreezing can cause damage to the emulsion. Think...
It's in a state park dedicated to the local history of the area, the train hasn't run there since the 40's. If you want to ride a train you'll have to go to Durango and ride the Durango-Silverton...
Thank you for these wonderful memories! My favorite place on earth.
Beautiful! I used to take my kids to that park to fish and play on the train cars. IIRC, that loco is on a trestle that is not accessible to the public. The kids used to love hiking below Morrow...
One of my favorite places on earth, beautifully photographed. I rafted the Gunny a couple of times years ago, totally different feel in the bottom of the canyon.

Oh Em Gee !!!
I normally am not into portrait work BUT, this is spectacular! I hope they have a huge enlargement on their wall.
I have a 4x5 Tachihara, a 5x7/4x5 Dorffclone (two backs) and an 8x10 Nagaoka Seisakusho. I shoot 5x7 more than anything, love the aspect ratio, though I would prefer it were 5x8(golden mean).
Impressive resume indeed!! I spent the last 25 years of my working career as a commercial construction super. and 10 years prior to that as a residential super, and have been in construction since...
Again, wrong. You can get away with 1/8" per foot with small drain lines of 1.25" - 2" (sink drains) that carry water only, anything 3" and larger is used for solid waste.
I don't know where you came up with your info, but the building codes in my area are specific,
Waste line slope-¼ inch to 3 inches per foot
Pipes must slope slightly downhill to drain properly. The...
Here's a little something to think about when building a sink. Sanitary sewer fall per run is figured to keep "solid waste" moving. Everyone thinks they must follow the 1/4 inch fall
per foot of...

I use Bon Ami or Bartenders Friend cleansers on glass surfaces, they are less abrasive than Comet or Ajax and rinse away easier. I use a sharp "HB" pencil to restore any grid lines that have been...
I've been using it for years. It is economical, out lasts most other fixers, good capacity even with double sided X ray film, long shelf life, low odor(which is why I switched to it), washes out...

I've done quite a bit of making positives using X-Ray film, it's a by product of enlarging negatives. The easiest way is to enlarge to make an inter positive (first step to making an enlarged...

I usex-ray film for enlarged interpositives and internegatives on a regular basis, the hardest thing to get right is exposure times, they are extremely short.
Do you mean hardening the film during development? I use PMK pyro which is a tanning developer which does harden the emulsion somewhat during development. Just about any pyro developer will do that....
Exactly
You really need to do your own testing to see what works best for you. That being said, For RC paper, I have fixed my developing time to two minutes total(actual develop+drain time)then into the stop...
