    Re: CS2 tif problem?

Also I have two 4x5 b&w scans off an epson flatbed scanner, saved as tif's in greyscale in CS2. My friend's copy of CS3 opens them as "Camera Raw 4.0-TIFF"'s.

    Re: CS2 tif problem?

Yes the file was saved in Adobe RGB(1998). The printer said his copy of CS4 would only recognize the file as a Nikon Raw file, he didn't specify NEF. I didn't even know I could save in Nikon Raw from...

Re: What ISO is this Xray film???

I've shot some CXS high speed blue X-ray film. I tried some sunny 16 shots @ ISO 50 that were over exposed, 100 ISO was better.

Re: Home Studio and Darkroom Survey

Another converted garage. Wet darkroom (trays), and contact prints. My 'studio' is just big enough to do single person portraits.

  33. Re: Does a Color of the light source effects printing?

You can make ND filters out of b&w film. You can control the density by adjusting the exposure of the film. I made some by shooting a white board and placing the value in differtent zones. I can then...

    RE: Contrast

If the scene is indeed gray, dramatic and moody, I'm wondering if a high-key approach might work.

Most importantly, don't forget to bring your hardhat!
