Sadly, the Nikkor SW 150 is a tad out of my price range... I think I've got WA covered for 8x10. Nikkor SW 120, Fujinon W 180, Nikkor W 210, and 240.

I'd love to have a Schneider 150 XL, but it's not a 90mm equivalent. I friend of mine used to let me borrow his years ago... Anything out there that has more IC than the Fujinon? Thanks!
I think that was mostly down to me not centring the lens... I've had it since out in the field and was very careful about that. All looked great! I'll try focussing on the hyperfocal distance next...
Finally picked up one of these older Fujinon lenses, and tested it to see how well it covers 8x10.

My friend Stephen, recently received an Intrepid 8x10 from the UK.

My money is on it being fine. I've got a box of 4x5 tmax, expired 2000. I bought it new in '98 in Japan. Sat in a drawer, in my darkroom. Started using the remaining sheets about a year ago. It was...
Nice to see you back, Joel!
I really wanted to see how this high resolution film (800 lines/mm) would perform in Mortensen's Glycin Variant... I was quite pleased, and was able to make a lovely, little, Carbon Transfer print.
...
But... (I forgot to mention this...) I will not buy an item if the only way is DHL, or UPS. They are crooks...especially the latter.
I've found fees to be reasonable, over the many years I've dealt with Japan sellers, even for stuff under $200. My Fujinon W 180 just arrived. $40 FedEx, and $11 dollars tax. I don't mind paying $40...
Uh ohhh... too late! I've been looking into using large paper negs! :D
I decided to give his developer a go...

Thanks! Both the 44 and 44A are 2 stops. I'm waiting for an 80A filter to arrive, so I can see what it will do...
Not large format, but the focus is on filters... 44, and the 44A.

For ultra-large format...in my case, 14x17... I only have one holder. I could only afford one. Two sheets of XRAY.
Welcome!
It could very well be from being xrayed. I had banding on IR sheet film, but it ran the width of the film, not the length, like yours. And there was more than one band.
I selectively intensified an HP5 negative with a brush once. I wanted better separation in the relief of a big bell outside a Buddhist temple. I carefully puddled the selenium toner over the bell,...
I'll bet it'll be fine. I have a box of double-sided green from 2005. Kept it in a drawer. It's totally fine.
I just snagged an older Fujinon W 180 from Japan. It'll be nice having something that will cover 8x10, between my Nikkor 120 SW, and Nikkor W 210 :)
Steve Sherman's, Extreme Minimal Agitation... aka....semi-stand, with CatLABS 80 8x10 sheet film.

Next time, try 1+1+50. That is how I prefer to develop HP5, to get more stain. Some films don't show much stain.
Lovely photography, John. I did stare at the log at the bottom of my falls, but there was just way too much water, mist, and wind coming at me, that I decided to save it for late Summer, early...
This is a follow up to my Bridal Falls video (link to Bridal Falls video: https://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?176460-Bridal-Falls-Provincial-Park&p=1706710#post1706710}

That is something that I need to look at more closely. I have been planning to take out some TMX, and TMY, as well as Delta 100 and 400, for a comparison.
HP5 sadly is not a good choice (in my opinion) due to the longer DR required for several alt. processes. When the development time is extended, the base+fog increases considerably than a film like...
There is an easy way to calibrate the L-588. I calibrated it to my Minolta F. I then checked it off of a grey card, in the shadows, and highlights.

I started with Ansel Adams Guide: Basic Techniques of Photography (the first one), way back in '92. That led to Adams' The Negative, then, The Print. I also got The Camera shortly after. The Negative...
I use the Nikkor SW 120 for extra wide angle on 8x10. I also use a Nikkor W 210.
Bet you made that in a pinch! ;)
We use the V600 for the photo program at the school I teach at (for film and prints). Does an admirable job.
I'm mixing gold toner #2 from scratch. 50ml of 1% gold chloride solution; 50ml 1% solution of Thiourea; 0.5g Tartaric acid.
I use KRST and dilute it 1+100.
Third and final instalment of my 8x10 in the snow series...

Snow day #2! Took the pinhole out with only one film holder. It was cold but at least the snow wasn't flying!

Hard time, but enjoyed it immensely!

Thanks, Michael! I will ask my friend who owns the metre, if he calibrated it or not. Two stops off seems pretty bad!
Welcome!
