Both slide under the ground glass.

I believe all the accessories are interchangeable between Q-Flash, Norman, and Lumedyne. Not sure about flash tubes.

John, you could try Phenolic sheet, vulcanized fibre sheet, or Delrin sheet. They could all cut by hand if in thin sheet. All of them are available at www.mcmaster.com.

Thanks Bob. There is also a knob wind version of the Horseman 6x9 (I think in black). Any difference between the knob wind and lever wind? Thanks.
Jason.
Would the silver version of 6x9 Horseman backs with a left hand lever wind fit on 2x3 Graflok backs (not Century)? Thanks.

798000 Korean Won is the list price. That is about US$769.

Eithe attach a clamp to a Manfortto QR plate or one of these would work, http://www.kirkphoto.com/platformsc.html.

How about this one?

Similar to Jorge's experience, outside of the US (Asia) UPS and Fedex are excellent.
Jason
From my understanding (well.. at least that is what they told me), Fedex and UPS would not get signatures for residential deliveries. Signatures are required for commercial deliveries. You need to...

No problem with them for several purchases, even with 'Bargain' grade equipments. They have an excellent return policy.

Crown Graphics use same lens boards as Pacemaker Speeds.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
Jason.
There is an adapter board from Crown Graphic to 4" Graphic View. I believe that 4" Graphic View lens boards are compatible with Anniversary Speed boards. Go to www.graflex.org to check anything...

As I understand it, the arrows on the barrel are completely arbitrary. They are there to help you...
What Jan said about #5 having different versions apply to #3 and #4 too. Also be aware that some shutters have restricted apertures.
Jason.
FYI, Betax shutters should be identical to Alphax shutters. At least the ones I have are.
Jason.
Alphax #3 shutters usually have top speed at 100. #4 and #5 have top speed at 50. Other than that you could only compare the overall diameters.

Try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It takes permanent marker and sticker goo off of my wooden holders w/o damaging the finish.

558 will not take a booster.
Jason.
Some older 355mm G Clarons fit Compound #3 shutters. I think they have silver front barrels.
Jason.
Could also ask Tim @ LensN2shutter.
Phenolic sheets will work. Vulcanized fiber paper (fish paper) and Delrin should also work.
Randy,
Use the T or B setting and a cable release.
Jason.
Randy,
Take a look at this link, http://www.skgrimes.com/compur/slftime/index.htm.
Some Compur shutters have press pre-view. Look for a rectanglar shaped button next to the cocking lever. Cock the shutter first before pressing the pre-view button.
Compur or Copal shutter?
Ole and Dan, I think compound shutters were available in sizes from #00 to #5.

Liquid electrical tape.
You could sight thru the lens if your ground glass doesn't have cut-corners. i.e. see all corners thru the taking aperture of the lens.
Scott,
355mm Schneider Symmar Convertible in a Copal #3 is the same lens as the 360mm in Compound. They show up quite often. I got a 355mm for not much more than buying the shutter alone.

Don,
Thanks. I see that you are using the 4-section Gitzo 1348. Could you tell me the height without the last section extended? Thanks again.
Jason.
Don and Terence,
Is the Pack Mule frame adjustable to torso length? It looks very interesting. Thanks.
Jason.
Will,
Measure the mounting threads and refer to the shutter spec table on SK Grime's site. My guess is they are non-standard sizes.
Jason.
Correction: Copal #3 needs a lensboard hole of 65mm. It is very close to the mounting thread of a Compound #4. But I still think a Compound #4 will not fit into a lensboard hole for a Copal #3.
...
Copal #3 mounting thread is M62x0.75. I believe Compound #4 mounting thread is around M66. So Copal #3 hole will be too small to fit a Compound #4.
