    Re: tripod thread issues

    Re: Sam Haskins Photography

I remember Sam from my formative days in photography.

Re: Can someone identify this focusing accessory?

    Re: Rollei Infrared 400

  10. Re: Paterson Orbital - lost base, what can I do?

Yes, I heat the tray on a tray heater to keep the temp just above 20deg C

    Mike
  11. Re: Paterson Orbital - lost base, what can I do?

I use mine for both 5x4 and 5x7 and get perfect results.

If you put enough water in the tray, the Orbital floats and that allows for easy rocking motions for agitation.

    Re: Hello from Manchester UK

    Welcome Steve.

You're right, equipment choices in the UK are more limited than in the US, but keeping an eye out and patience will get you what you need.

There are dealers in the UK that can...
  13. Re: Paterson Orbital - lost base, what can I do?

I don't use the base for my Orbital at all.

I sit the whole thing in a 10x12 tray of water at 22 ˚C and it floats nicely and allows for rocking to agitate.

    I used the small self-adhesive...

Yep, i use a French Flag. The arm is provided by Ebony and you can use either the ground-glass protector or the dark slide.

Have a look at the Paramo focussing cloth.

It's made of waterproof material too:...
