Thanks everyone! I've normally shot more traditional landscapes but given I'm not going to be able to leave my city potentially for the rest of the year I've had to think of other things to...

Cheers, I've been locked down and unable to leave my city for ~8 weeks now and probably will be until the end of the year, so I've got to make lemonade with the lemons.

    Re: Large Format Landscapes

First 4 frames of 4x5 I've shot in probably 6 months. I love how using the view camera forces you to focus on the present, really helps to exclude all of the other stuff flying around in your head at...

Re: MF (6x4.5 to 6x12) COLOR image sharing

Three shots on Ektar 100 in my 3D printed 6x12 camera from last night. Definitely have a light leak I need to track down but I think they came out ok.

  12. Re: Panoramic Format (6x12 ~ 6x17, etc) B&W only.

First test shots of my 3D printed 6x12 camera. Came out ok but I haven't set the zone focus up correctly so I was consistently focusing closer than I wanted (and can't even get infinity focus...
  13. Re: Midtone Machines - Automatic Film Processing Machine

Potentially? I think I've posted there once or twice before but I've never made a specific thread over there. I suppose that's something I should be doing.
  14. Re: Midtone Machines - Automatic Film Processing Machine

Just thought I'd bump this thread with some more news. The Chromabox-4 is now routinely processing film during testing and I'll be hosting a demo-day at a local film lab soon to get more rolls of...

Two 4x5 sheets of Ektar. I took them last night and developed them this morning in the Chromabox automatic film developer I've been designing and building. Worked like a charm.

Three sheets of Ektar from the weekend. Overcast drizzly day but I think it really brought out the colours of the trees and didn't hurt the waterfalls at all.

Another blog post update, I now have a 4x5 sheet film holder in the machine and it looks like maaaybe it could take a 5x7 holder?

  29. Re: Midtone Machines - Automatic Film Processing Machine
