    Re: Agfa Solinar 13.5mm F4.5

Another camera that I believe shipped with this lens was the Agfa Standard plate camera. You might try searching that. Nothing I found lists the filter size though. Many of those style lenses...
  2. Re: MF (6x4.5,6x6,6x7,6x9,6x12) B&W film images sharing

This is gorgeous. I love the composition and I love the scintillating highlight detain. This must be amazing in a selenium toned print.
  3. Re: which Spot lightmeter for field use (dead Spotmeter V) ?

Either the Pentax Digital Spotmeter or one of the Soligor 1 degree spot meters will be good. Soligor put out both an analog and a digital version of their spot meter. Both were good performers.

    Re: Bench vs Freestanding Enlargers

Drew, how much vertical space does your enlarger require? I have eight feet two inches of clearance in my darkroom and would like to get an eight by ten enlarger. There is a Durst that's a state away...

  6. Re: Freezing HP5...how long before fog/speed loss...

I just opened a box of Arista Pro 400 from 2006. It's been frozen and in double zip lock bags since the day I bought it. My understanding is that this film was simply rebadged HP5, and I've never...
  7. 5-liter Graduates for Mixing Chemistry

Found these on Amazon and mixing XTol just became easier. They are ABN 5-liter "paint mixing pitchers" and a 3-pack is $32.95. They are quite heavy duty, marked out in US and Metric measurements and...

Re: "Crown" -brand Sheet Film Holders.

Corran, you're much better off. I picked up five of the Crowns last week just to do a review. They came in today. They appear to be 3D printed. Of the five, 9 of 10 dark slides were so hard to slide...

Re: Wheelbarrow Handles are a bargain

Good idea, Tin Can. But I prefer my modified golf bag on wheels. Don't play golf, but you can carry a tripod, a camera, and quite a bit of extra gear. Too bad it's not big enough for the 810M.

This just proves that a lens doesn't have to be spectacular to make a great image. Well done, Paul.

    Re: Agnecolor Laminar Flow Processor

A word of caution. I had one of these for a very brief time. If any of the holes at the top get clogged, you'll get a horrendous streak down an expensive piece of paper. And they clog easily. Even...
