    Re: Trail cart

I agree, Alan. I have a kinda similar cart, but mine...there's something in the geometry of it that makes it unpleasant for me to pull it. How is yours?

Re: 210mm or 240mm for Portraits?

I agree with Bernice. How a lens is used will also affect it's out-of-focus rendering, which changes with how close one is to the subject, f stop, distance to background, lighting...

Hard in what way? I'm not disagreeing, I'm just not sure what you mean. I did also photograph the scene with a Verito, but I won't be able to get to editing that one for awhile.

Re: 210mm or 240mm for Portraits?

210's f/5.6s are very widely available in modern and compact Copal 1 shutters. 240 F/5.6 are much bigger lenses in huge Copal 3 shutters. Alternatively, there are 240mm f/9 lenses, such as a...

  18. Re: Comparison of Howtek 8000 Resolve to Epson V850

The superiority of a linear scan for standard photo work is debatable. It certainly wasn't standard practice for high-end scanning during the heyday of film scanning. Steven can correct me, but I...

    Trail cart

    Re: Intrepid 8x10 experiences?

It's possible that Polaroid put some bw film in 8x10 sleeves. Type 55 maybe? But I don't think Kodak did.

  40. Re: Should I Drum Scan, X1 Flextight Scan, or use the Epson V850 w/Aztek Wet Mount Ki

Wet mounting defeats the purpose of ANR glass. Use one or the other.
