Re: Shelf life of Kodak hardener

I still use Kodak rapid fix with hardener for fiber base prints that I dry on a old fashioned drum dryer. No need for hardener with film or paper, exception being as I mentioned, toners that can...

  6. Re: Fabrication of a reflex back for a LF camera?

My Dad made me a wooden one for a Crown Graphic. Box with a mirror at 45 degree angle. It would be enormous scaled up. I think the plans came from ancient popular mechanics magazine.

Re: The beginnings of yet another darkroom

This is brilliant! Getting the angle right on joist holes is a challenge, don't notch!
These tents are really pretty awesome. You need to find some more print tubes for cheap. Well played!
  8. Re: Darkroom Sink - Delta 1 TRP (Temperature Regulated Processing) Package

Does anyone here have a chiller for cold water supply? In my place I have no problem, water is rarely above 60F in the hottest months. I've visited many lovely places that, cold water isn't cold.
  9. Re: Darkroom Sink - Delta 1 TRP (Temperature Regulated Processing) Package

I have a friend who has a Delta 1 sink that's much older, from the late 80's, seems to be fine. The sink is on a homemade wood stand.

That looks great! Dark is easy at night. Beautiful water setup. A couple GFCI outlets maybe a folding table. I am reorganizing my darkroom, love it! Keeps me young and I love the work.

Those 8x10 Elwood domes are like a mirror on the inside.

I moved my 8x10 Zone VI to another room, still have a 5x7 Zone VI to move, then probably 3 Beselers. I'm installing a 3rd sink. Then...

    Re: 8x20 daylight processing tank

That is pretty neat. Without any sort of Polaroid the various Stearman tanks would be great for field use. As Layton mentioned even hotel rooms. Darn cool device.
  29. Re: "Poll" Question: Do you use a footswitch for your enlarger?

  30. Re: "Poll" Question: Do you use a footswitch for your enlarger?

I use a footswitch for a Zone VI development timer when developing b&w prints in trays. I've never used a footswitch for an enlarger.
