    Re: UV bulb in enlarger?

Yes, but that used rather thin glass in contact frames transmits UV rather well, still

    Re: UV bulb in enlarger?

Well, about the topic: today things ahev changes a bit, as high powered 365nm UV LEDs have gotten much cheaper and using some in a suitable condensor head would bring down exposure times considerably...

    Re: UV bulb in enlarger?

I had been contacted about that a while ago, made some calculations and came out with several hours of needed exposure, so dropped that plan then.
    Thanks for the confirmation!

    Re: Quarz LF lenses?

Indeed Mark, many (older and esp. uncoated) lenses reach down to about 350-360nm if made of optical glass, surely enough for wet plate work. However, let me remind you that there is quite some focus...

  16. Recommend ULF lens with some 800mm image circle

Needed for some about 1:1 repro work. Thought about using Apo Germinar W lens(es).
Space is rather limited, so wide angle lenses preferred.

    Any other recommendations?

  22. Carl Zeiss Jena Anastigmat 8/110mm early lens - Planar??

Saw that on ebay: 251467585586 and wondered if that might be an early Planar?

  26. Re: Info Wanted on Large "Infrared Imaging" Barrel Lens

  35. Re: Highest resolution color film, slide or negative?
