Seems like this show is doing well.
Any suggestions on getting a better end product? Other than more time in photo editing software, which is my least favorite thing to do.
Thanks for getting me hooked on this.
I am in love...

I really wish users would take the few seconds to edit out the image URL/embed when quoting.
Here's a photo I took as part of some promotional images for a production of Blithe Spirit.
I thought the crop gave it an old B&W cinema feel.

Wow this is striking. I'll have to attempt this lighting setup.
I've often thought about using the rear shift method but never gotten around to trying it myself.

A community theatre in Frederick, MD. I wish I'd had Ektar for the second act but I was all out and had to use Portra 160. Didn't like it as much but they also used very little hazer so it didn't...
Mine was just f64 and no ND filter. You'd definitely need an ND filter or a pinhole camera to do daytime long exposures.

Picked up a Bender 4x5 with an Ilex-Calumet 215mm f/4.8 from craigslist
The rail wobbled a lot in the Bender rail clamp and the threaded insert was set in too deep for my tripod screw to...

I'd enjoy a series done in the same style.
Looks halfway between a posed still life and a candid snap. I think it works well.

Cropped a lot because it was not very level.
Thanks Moogie!
I will buy it for $1,000,000

A hair dryer on low or no heat makes this easy.
This is one of those rare photos that is both intriguing and unsettling.
More please!

They look like long dead ancient gods.
They are a bit thicker than the grafmatic. The spring back on my Speed would take a grafmatic but not a Polaroid 405.
How did you color correct it? Mine always come out wonky.

Wow this is a great concept.
May I give it a whirl?

The UPS shipping software we use at work has a check box for residential address and it does raise the price by a few dollars. Z&Z's shipping estimator probably defaults to business delivery.
I'm not sure what to call it either but I do like it.
The scene looks equally setup and thoughtlessly placed.
I think it's from the vertical string that holds the slats in place. I'll keep an eye out for that next time.
Any chance it's your monitor? It looks extremely flat, almost like an uncorrected scan, on my work monitor. At home (same model monitor) it looks low contrast but low contrast by choice.
Ektar is definitely my favorite film.

I was looking at some of Mapplethorpe's flowers and felt inspired by the way he used the light and shadows on his backdrops. This isn't even close but it was a fun experiment.

It was an intentional choice to have sun behind her. I was trying to get a halo effect in her hair by having her backlit. Like so https://i.ytimg.com/vi/iWs7OqLo-LQ/maxresdefault.jpg

It looks like there are some faint vertical streaks in the center. Is it lens flare/reflection or something on the negative itself? It looks like some of mine when I scan them before they are...

Lesson learned, don't take Portra 160 to a golden hour portrait shoot.
