Absolutely stunning images..
Yeah, I lived in Dyrham and I do recall that there were some pretty good pubs round there..
I've been told the 2840 becomes the equivelant of the Jobo 2583 Multi-tank 8 once you've changed a few bits.. Hope this helps..
I'm up for it.. Someone would probably call in the firearms officers thinking my Speed Graphic was some sort of sub-machine gun..
I used to live about 100 metres away from Dhyham Park.. It's a lovely place..
Hey, I live in Bath too! I wasn't expecting anybody else to be from round my way..
Welcome to the forum..

Here we go-

I just read someone's successful account of this yesterday.. I'll just try and find it again..

Thanks, I will do.. After school I'll make sure I get back to you properly..

So whereabouts is the light in the rangefinder? And does it shine through to give the light spots?
-Harry
I've read a few threads suggesting that if you take the bottom and top part of the 2840 drum, then put a funnel and centre column in, a 2509n reel will work with it..
Is this true? And what sort...
Not at all Bill, you were totally right with your comment..
Loads of great information here, really useful.. Paul, yours helped especially..

Exactly the same sort of thing for me.. I'm using Mac OSX..
Incredible.
Thanks for letting us know Dan..
Thanks for all the replies everybody, lots of help..
Lenser, could you just explain a little more about the cam/focal length thing because I don't really understand it, thanks..
Sorry if I caused any offense..
Am I the only one that finds focusing with the ground glass for portraits incredibly difficult? Getting everything sharp isn't the problem, I can do that fine and anything that doesn't move is ok,...
My eyes just broke.. That image is dangerously good..
I'll have a look into the firewire thing.. The person I bought from assured me that they had used it several times from new..
Do you think you could give me a link to the sort of cable your using? My usb cable didn't come with the scanner and might be causing the problem..
I tried with a different usb port and it's no different and I can't see why I should need any other drivers.. I'm turning the scanner on and waiting till it's ready before I launch the software as...
That is where I downloaded my driver from, although I only downloaded one and I'm using a Mac with USB.. I'll have a look at the other drivers and see what can be done.. Thanks again..
I'm pretty certain I did that.. How are you connecting yours to the computer? And what computer are you using?
Thanks..
Thanks..
That is one cool idea.. Shame I don't live anywhere near NY..
Fuegocito, really nice expression and tones..
The camera was almost in the snow, i propped it up with a few rocks about 15cm above it.. Thanks a lot by the way..
I just double checked and there is a lock thing on the back, but I've already unlocked it.. Thanks anyway..
There is a transporting screw which you have to remove, but I've done that and I'm pretty sure there isn't a travel lock.. What's it look like, is it a switch?

I recently bought a good example with the transparency unit for very cheap, and am having great difficulty in getting it to connect to my computer.. I am using a USB connection, I think I have all...
The lens came in the post yesterday and it does have a flange.. I made some calculations and it looks like it'll be surprisingly easy, all I need now is to drill a good hole and round off some...
Unbelievably good..
I'm not sure if I have a mounting flange with the lens yet, it hasn't arrived.. I know the similar 178mm f/2.5 Aero-Ektar needs custom boards but I don't know how different the Dallmeyer is to that..
Looking to fit this onto my Speed Graphic.. The lens hasn't arrived yet (coming from Germany) and I have virtually no experience with lens boards types even though it looks quite simple.. Any help to...
I think they're brilliant.. Especially the first one, the composition is perfect..
