    Re: My first 4x5

Does anyone think the Intrepid MK4 with the metal bottom is the way to go now? I felt like I've
sensed a general distaste for the older iterations of intrepid.

    Re: February portraits 2019

Yeah I scanned the negative backwards I think (Even though it was emulsion side down), I flipped it when I was processing it, but I actually like it better this way, despite the mirrored lettering.

    Re: February portraits 2019

@Emi, lovely portrait! I think the toning adds a lot in combination with the rendering of those old cooke lenses.

Here it explains that it will fit 2 5x7 sheets, I don't believe it specifically addresses 4x5 sheet capacity, though logic serves 4 4x5...

    SP-8x10+ campaign launched!

It looks like the makers of the quite popular SP445 are moving into 8x10 territory, although what I find interesting
is that it can take any number of different sized sheets of film, including...
  12. Re: Mounting lenses to boards for beginners: video

Thank you for the reply Dan.

Just so I understand, the spacer itself can be made out of paper? I'm assuming I would want to use a thicker type of paper then?
  13. Re: Mounting lenses to boards for beginners: video

Piggybacking off of this thread because I think its relevant.

I have my Schneider 180mm MC on a lens board I bought off ebay, I believe it's made out of plywood. Now - I don't know if this is...
