    Widest modern lenses for 8x10

I have a 121 Super Angulon that covers 8x10 with very little movements. I alway s stop it down, so can't really say about the image circle wide open.

    Regards,

more about scratches on LF negatives

    Nose grease!

Works great on base scratches, but do not under ANY circumstances use it on the emulsion side.

It really does work. Use sparingly.

The quest for a reliable spotmeter

I've used the same UNmodified Pentax digital spot since 1983. It's a great mete r, and if I had to buy a new one for some reason, that would be my choice. I once thought about about having it...
  5. FSTOP Group Issues New Warning about X-Ray Damage to Film

If you carried on your person a small box of, say, 4x5 silver-rich film (Bergger ?), would it trip the metal detector? Now there's a head scratcher.

    Bill

    P.S. Sorry, Ellis.

    Shot first 8x10s, having issues . . .

  16. Kodak Commercial Ektar 81/2" f/6.3 for 8x10???

I feel, but don't know really, that an 8.5" Commercial probably wouldn't cover 8 x10. That never seemed to bother Emmet Gowin.
