    Re: KEH Question

I see on Ebay that they have a lot of ugly Dagors for sale. To me the prices seem very high for a damaged lens. I'm not sure who the the target buyer is. People who want to imitate Sally Mann?

I always take along a list of equipment and serial numbers when traveling. If anything gets stolen I'll at least be able to give this information to the police.

  8. Re: Bought a nice Linhof Master Technika Classic. Can I do the CLA myself to save mon

Do you have a source you can buy the parts from? Maybe you should compare the cost of you buying the parts and doing the repairs vs. the repair quote you received.
  9. Re: Hinge the window on the top or the side - or does it matter?

I use the long side for the hinge. So side for verticals.
  10. Re: Voigtlander Bergheil 9x12 Shift Control Not Moving

  12. Re: Has anyone designed and built their own camera bag?

Thanks Peter. The Fuji 645Zi is a great camera for travel or use in crowded places. I've had mine for almost 20 years now.

  16. Re: I'm not sure if it's a popular size, but can I get some 5x7 camera recommendation

Are you planning to shoot color with the 5x7? If so make sure you look at the 5x7 film options.

Re: Strange balck blur spots on 4x5 320 Trix

Always a good idea to first look at a sheet of film straight out of the box and see if it shows any problems. If it's clean you can move on to looking at processing problems.

    Re: Toyo 45A wont close

Look at the first picture in this post. The lensboard locking slider on the camera front standard should be slid downward as if you are attaching a lensboard.

    Re: Toyo 45A wont close

Not the front standard. The lensboard locking slider needs to be pushed down. Your photo shows it still raised.

Re: Looking for feedback on images...

Do you play with cropping your images? Best tool I have is my cropping L's. For me in #2 a right side vertical crop with those two vertical dark shapes is what I see.
