    If one needs a center filter is a very personal thing in my opinion. I use my 120mm SW f8 Nikkor on my 8x10 without a center filter. It's a matter of personal taste my 2 cts.

    I have booth the 300mm and the 360 Universal Heliar for 8x10 I recommend the 360mm the covering is not a problem for the 300mm especially with portrait distances!

    The drawings of the 120/180mm looks very similar to the old ones 210/300mm, just the fixation looks a bit changed, and yes they are not symmetrical, but not so far away to be so!

    Hi I prefer the long Horseman Loupe 6x 25614 its good with the folding back bellows of Horseman and Linhof Technika!
    In cold air it gets less troubles, with fogging the screen!
