    Kodak Discontinues E100VS in 4x5

Went to buy some and its gone, everywhere (Freestyle, Badger, B&H). Did not see it listed on Kodaks website as a discontinued film so I called Jeff at Badger, and sure enough, its adios. Looks like...

    Re: LaCie done!

And I agree, LaCie sucks as a company and their housings seem to promote heat and drive failure. Why should I want Phillipe Starke design my drive housing? He made it worse!

    Exactly why I went...

    Re: LaCie done!

Just switched to Glyph drives. The quality is second to none. After three Lacie failures in the last four years I'd had enough. I dare you to find a poor review of a Glyph drive.

    Re: Lightgear and Kelty System

I have both a P2 and the Nimbus, and I much prefer the harness system on the Nimbus. The lumbar support molds to the shape of your back, whereas I find the P2 much less forgiving. It wants to mold...

    Re: Only one lens Forever

135 APO Sironar-S. Beats my 110XL in resolution hands down. If I don't require the extra IC of the 110XL, then the 135 is the lens for me.
  7. Anyone Working with Reverse Processed B&W Film for Scanning?

Apparently, one of the advantages is that it scans better since the silver is removed in the development process. I've shot perhaps 100 sheets or so of Delta 100 processed by dr5 and indeed it scans...

Are these meetings still happening. I have been out of the darkroom for a long long time and would love to get back into silver gelatin printing.

    Re: Large Format Landscapes

Welcome to the exciting fold of large format. I dived in two years ago and have never looked back. I use a Leica and Mamiya 7 for street work, and 4x5 for landscapes.
