Since posting this I have installed a dedicated gravity drain line so no longer need the small pump and basin if anyone needs it just pm me. It works great if your drain line is above your darkroom...
I know but it is still a 2 piece column. L
Are they still manufacturing enlargers? Direct contact info?
I would get a Gepe release from B&H and just use it to fire the shutter. You can open the shutter manually to focus.
...
So are the G-Clarons, they still work fine at infinity. L
If the ENH bulbs work for you, I'd keep using them. You can always buy a new fan. No sense to try and re-invent the wheel. L
Buy the correct shutter release. L
To again revive an old thread it is important to tighten bolt #3 above to prevent the chains from coming off before moving the enlarger. Same applies to a 504 and 507 enlargers
The auction site. Where I got cases of bulbs for my 5108!!
Neil you are correct on the enlarging lens. I have both the Apo 180 and 240 like yours also the 180 Rodagon and don’t see any difference between it and the Apo lens in B&W enlargements
No I doubt you’ll see any
Any 210 f 5.6 will do. I doubt you'd be able to tell any difference as long as the lens has not been damaged, dropped, abused, etc. Just make sure the shutter is accurate. Most lenses are better...
If you buy a new cheap camera you’ll loose money when you sell it. If you buy a user Deardorff you won’t loose money. It’s your nickel.
I bought a new one some 30 years ago and never regretted it
There is an entire thread on this:

Where about is this beast? What part of the world? And where are you? If it's like the 5108, it is a 2 piece column. KHB should be able to verify this. L
Not to rain on anyone's parade, but my V11 has #41 stamped in that location and it's ser #289. Is the number a batch # or is it applicable just to the Marine v11's? No such #'s on my V8's.
...
Can you post a photo of the wire issue? L
It's a Marine V11 without front swings made for the military. I've seen them both with the usual 4 piece triangular bottom, and the bottom shown here. L
Can you post a link to the LED’s?
I have a thread on my intellifaucet under Hass intellifaucet installation on this forum if you do a search for it. L
So don’t shut it down with the valves open!!!! I have a faucet next to mine for unregulated water.
Great product from a Great company. I have two K250's the digital version. One I use, one's a backup (Why I have two I don't know because they don't break)!!
I had a baseboard made using a double formica countertop material. I can also confirm that the fans on my 5108 are noisy. Luis
If it has knobs for the three colors it’s not a closed loop head. The c-500 analyzer has nothing to do whether it’s closed loop or not. The photo you posted is for a manual head.
I'm sure it was put in to cut down the light beam by someone printing smaller than 4x5 negatives. I'd just leave it off and use the enlarger without it. L
I'd have a baseboard fabricated. It attches to it with some 1/4-20 bolts I believe to the frame. Why don't you post some photos of what you actually have so we can help you better. If you want,...
You will either need to use a DeVere 1955 Universal timer, or better yet, use any timer with the KHB timer interphase cord. for a 120V Transtab well worth the money:
...
I have an extra control box but it’s 120 V. Not 240 so it doesn’t help you
The bottom half of the photo is the contol box. The top half is the timer
I squegee my Elkay SS sink in order to keep it stainless! Luis
It really doesn't matter. Just get what you like. L
Had a Zone VI model 2 and hated it. That's when I got the Durst SM-183! It has a 5x7 camera on an L-184 base.

The column should fit with a few inches to spare, the condenser housing probably won't allow full extension.
Also has a focus extension rod. L

It goes on the bottom assembly with the set screw.

PM me your Email, I can probably help with some manuals. L
4 4x5 Sinar F/P, 2 4x5/5x7 V5, 3 8x10 V8's, 1 11x14 V11; use mostly the 8x10’s
The fan should have the specifics printed on it. You can usually find them NOS at auction
