Hello again Stephan,
My MF condenser is the Uniocon 105. You would also need a Camuni adapter which allows the Unicons 50, 85 and 105 to be used. The Unicons are quite common, made for the M800...
Great video (and the accompanying music;))
Hi Stephan, I have the same device. Indeed you need two condensers, please see the photos below on how to assemble them:

And a closer look:

Hope this helps.
I made quite a few prints (on Adox Variotone) from pushed Fomapan 200 120. My developer od choice at that time was T-MAX 1+4 @12'.
The RED has been discontinued years ago. It was formulated for faster films (above ISO 200).
I'm note sure I follow. I focus on the GG, however the GG has to be removed before the roll back is attached to the back (001630). What I prefer is after the cocusing/composing part is done to remove...
I prefer to have the Super Rollex permanently attached to one of the backs. The other back with the ground glass attached sits on the camera for composing. It's much faster to switch the backs than...
Thanks Bob. I would like to get additional one so that I can keep the Super Rollex permanently attached to it.
001615 would be this part: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/31258-REG/Linhof_001615_4x5_Groundglass_Frame_with.html
I would like to know the part pictured left to it (in my original post).
Revolving frame, not back. Pictured is Kardan re, not Technika.
I wonder if the metal frame that goes to the rear standard and to which a groud glass is attached is #001616 "revolving frame" :...
ADOX FX-39 is said to be based on NEOFIN RED: https://www.adox.de/Photo/adox-film-developer/adox-fx-39/
Thanks Kiwi and Duolab.
The X6 5 l kit from Fuji Hunt (E-6) goes for around 100 eur here, so quite a bit cheaper. I'm not sure I would invest 400 bucks
Jobo has spoken - 210 ml, but this is the min volume to cover the film evenly (to my understanding at least), however it sure is not enough in terms of capacity. I think I will use 330 ml per batch,...
Thanks, I will be using Fuji Hunt, a standard 6-bath kit.
I wonder if 250 ml of E-6 chemistry would be sufficient to develop 10 sheets of 4x5" in a Jobo Expert drum #3010 capacity wise? I know Jobo lists min volume for the 3010 Expert drum at 210 ml. Thanks
My experience with Adox Lupex is limited to a couple of sheets only. Developed in Ilford Multigrade the tonality was distinctly cool even bluish.
You are welcome. I found them by accident. Enjoy.

A new video on Technikardan S 45 was added a week ago
on their channel.
I've recently noticed Linhof having a YouTube channel with a dozen or so videos available:

132 should be totally matte with no reflection coming back, whereas 532 shows some sheen.
Fomatome 542 Chamois Type I, developed in Moersch Separol HE, Toned in Moersch Siena:
183265
Type I had less yellow base tint than Type II.
Good to know.
Thanks. But the emulsion changed somehow, certainly after the introduction of type II, hence my question re toning.
I would appreciate any shared experience on Fomatone 532 II paper. In the past I have been using 542 and 542 II, never 532 II which is the only one currently in production, apart from 131, 132, and...
Adox Variotone is very malleable tone-wise, with a very bright (pure white!) base. It's my favorite paper.
So true!
May I ask what's the benefit compared to the standard rigid rail?
Thanks Ritchie.
Hi Ritchie, that would be great.
Such as?
Bergger is Made in Germany, probably by InovisCoat, Harman coats Rollei.

150mm is the only lens I have for my 4x5 LF camera. I live quite happily with it. When I want something longer I crop the view by using a roll film back (and I honestly see no quality differnece on a...
I see no problem in being a maninstream company, they are after all a worldwide leading brand and their quality is impeccable. The 057 series is made of carbon fibres and megnesium joints. It really...
I went with Manfrotto for my Linhof Kardan and have never regretted it.

I got myself a dish warmer some time ago. Print developers are temperature sensitive too yet the the correct temperature is often neglected during the long darkroom sessions....
Is it also smoother?
MG IV, Fomabrom, MCC etc are about the same. I remember Ilford Watmtone as beeing more glossy (from years ago), old Bergger too. I also read Ilford Galery is different (glossier?). So which glossy...
