    aspherical lenses are believed to provide a 'sharper' image in the corners also when the lens is used at full aperture, at least thats why I bought once the asph Summicron :-)

    Great collection, ....how big are these Grubb landscape lenses (diameter lens for instance)? - (I have some, not from Grubb, but most of mine are quite tiny - will soon put a picture on flickr)

    I've serviced quite some compound shutters (most easy to do yourself); there are no seals inside!
    Clean the piston and the tube with alcohol.
