Re: Large Format Landscapes
Thanks again, all. It's interesting what a mistake can sometimes lead to. Here's another photograph from a different angle, but exposed properly, for what might be an interesting comparison:

Same camera/lens/development. I burned the trees because they were distractingly bright.
Edit: Thanks Hugo!

Bryan,
Really nice light and composition!

I really like that curved top in the falls.

First time I backpacked with a 4x5, and realized how unfit I am.
This is Hopar Glacier, the second fastest moving glacier, moving 4-5 inches per day.

Chicago has a few great parks and gardens - this is the lagoon at Columbus Park designed by Jens Jensen

I envy your trek nonetheless and am curious to see more from it

I wish I lived in the Himalayas myself and could head out to these places whenever I wanted, they are a 23 Hour drive from where I live.
The first one is from the trek down to the glacier, it was rather steep climb down.
Here is another, colloquially called the Passu Cathedrals, actual name is Tupopdan ("The sun drenched mountain" in the local language) @ 6,106 metres (20,033 ft)

My gosh Bryan - This looks like one of those locations that would be visited and photographed over and over again for a lifetime.

The second one (Passu Cathedrals) is amazing.
