I wish we had scenery like that here. :( How about posting a pic of the camera. I'd like to see it.
I think I have posted this before on another thread... but I just got an 8x10 inkjet back from West Coast Imaging and it came out really nice.
The negative is a real mess and I could never print it in the darkroom. But I had a drum scan made and did all the adjustments in Photoshop... Ansel-style. I can go up to 40x50 on this and I think I might.

4x5 Tri-X
Splendid, Richard!
What an eternity of depth.
And I like all the triangle-tops: Peaks, clouds, and giant shadow.
When you create the 40x50, I'll be in line to experience it.
I agree with him Richard, what a stunning depth you have captured.
Shot in Dec. in the Panamint Valley. BTW, this is not infrared. If you have never seen these shrubs, their leaves dry a very pale gray and back-lit they really pop. Of course, I helped them a little. ;)

PS I'm all excited about shooting 4x5 again and pretty new here so if I'm throwing too much up here or hogging to much bandwidth please let me know.

Keep them coming. Each new one is as outstanding as the previous one.

"Where is that please ? Quite a dramatic scene !"
"pending a more definitive answer, I'd say it is Mono Lake, CA."
Perhaps Tibet ? Nepal ? Bhutan ?
