Camera movements! Back tilt on the camera set the focus in a plane from just above the dramatic foreground root to half way up the background trees. The branch at the top left was too far out of the plane of focus and too close to the camera to be rendered sharp. An aperture of f64 or more likely f90 could have done it but it was too late in the day to try a one hour exposure (+ reciprocity). And the mosquitos would have ate me alive.

Heres a shot from my first batch of negatives with my new 45 Walker Titan, first large format camera ever too. What a joy to use! Dont be so harsh :D
Taken with Walker titan + SA 75/5.6 + Agfapan APX 100 cropped to 1x2.25 ratio in PS

David,
Not totally sure, could be lettuce (thats growing about 50 yards to the left of the first photo), corn, or something else. I used to be up to date on all of this since i live right by some other crop fields but here in South Florida they grow a lot and year round.
