bgh, I'm glad you're working in the Finger Lakes. That's my home country, and I have to admit that I didn't shoot enough there, even though I had almost 30 years of access (I'm from Rochester). Living in the southwest for the last six years makes me appreciate things I took for granted. Keep up the good work!
Thank you, Mark. It really is a beautiful area, and I am a bit ashamed that I am only now getting around to exploring the region with the camera, after living in Syracuse for 20 years! I grew up just a bit east of Rochester and liked the Finger Lakes as a kid. It is my intent also to write a book on the history of the region, particularly its agricultural history oriented to the emergence of the modern wine industry. One of these days....
