This is the fastest large format image production I've ever experienced..
This was shot this morning at 6:25am, developed and drying in my drying cabinet by 7:45am, dried and scanned by 2pm and finishing touches completed by 2:35pm.... 7hrs 10 minutes between exposure and printable file...
Attachment 114297
"A Morning to Reflect Upon"
Chamonix 045N-2
90mm f/8 SA.
6sec f/32
0.9HE Grad filter.
Fomapan 100 in Rodinal 1:50 - 7min @ 20°C
Shot on ANZAC day, the 99th Anniversary of the battle at Gallipoli.. Its a very meaningful day to us Aussies, not dissimilar to D-Day in many respects. A day on which 10,000 people lost their lives during an intense fire fight in WWI

Crikey!!! Incredible shot, worth it to do it all right away, congrats, that's a beauty!
Re: Large Format Landscapes
Thanks Stone.. I also shot 3 frames this morning on Provia 100F which I'll be developing in a week or so hopefully. One of those frames is identical to this one so with any luck the resulting image is nice... The colour in the sky this morning was unreal.. Very vibrant... Would have been a nice morning to be shooting Velvia 50/100 to be honest, but provia gave me a bit more latitude to play with..

Really nice, Alex. Fine comp and real nice tonal range. It will be great to see this in color and compare the impact of the two images.
Re: Large Format Landscapes
Very nice. We all should have such wonders at our doorstep!

Re: Large Format Landscapes
Thanks for the comments on my cracked mud image! Much appreciated.
Here is another from the Utah trip. I was in a wash that was picking up some nice bounce light on this little formation. For sense of scale, the whole scene is probably 2 feet across.
