Great photograph, it always amazes me what other photographers see, that I don't.

"Nature's Symbols"
This is another from my recent Utah trip. This is a section of rock about 2 feet wide and 3 feet tall. It very much reminds me of an abstract painting of symbols and lines.
Chamonix 4x5, Fujinon 240mm, Provia and a warming filter.
Comments and critiques are always welcome.

Thanks Ken!
Here is another one from the Utah trip. Chamonix 4x5, Fujinon 450mm, Provia, polarizer. I have no idea if this formation has a name, but I call it the castle on the butte.

'Natures Symbols' and 'Castle' are both excellent, Harley! 'Nature' Symbols' is one of your best.
Well done, sir!

My GF and I hiked a pretty steep trail in the Smoky Mountains, one way off the beaten path, last month. There was a small overlook cut from the brush and trees, and from there I took this shot looking down into the valley. One of the rare times I've used the 720mm lens. Stopped down to about f/32 if I remember, and it is razor-sharp. Much better than I expected. I use a monopod to stabilize the front standard - the whole thing, when setup and focused, is a bit unwieldy, but it's better than hoofing out a big monorail!
