Re: Large Format Landscapes
Martin - thanks - this was from a small bridge on a dirt track, a few kilometres from the main Transpantaneira. There are much better images to be had from either a boat, or from horseback, but itīs really challenging to use a Sinar monorail in those situations - perhaps a Speed Graphic would be the ideal camera?
Re: Large Format Landscapes
I apologize I'm posting this twice but for some reason I am unable to edit my posts...and flickr really messed with the contrast of my last post so I had to make the correction.

Thanks for the reply
I have an Ebony and have never managed to take a decent shot from a boat yet.
I have always been thwarted by the movement of the boat, as I have found that its almost impossible to get other people to sit still for long enough for the boat to stop moving.
Most peoples idea of sitting still in a boat - is not walking around - collectively they seem unable to stop shuffling for long enough
A higher shutter speed and hand held smaller format has been more fruitful

Wow, just wow. This is very nice. I bet it just glows as a mounted contact print!
