I've realized that using a public scanner isn't really that sweet. I'll have to endure the hardship until I can afford something on my own. Until then I'll use it for proof scanning negatives that I want to contact print. Is the contrast a bit too much in this image btw?

I like the soft and subtle tones. It's sort of like looking through a scope and into a dream.
Yes - we sense these nuances in the field, and wonder if they can be photographed. One reason I like shooting with film is the delay: we can't know for sure until after a positive image has been made. Sometimes we get lucky and the feeling comes through.Quote:
