Thanks Joe. Haven't seen the bats, but I wish I had. Valley of Fire is indeed a strange place. A lot of geology in a small space.

Shiprock trip a couple weeks ago. It was a solo run. Slept and worked out of a rented Pathfinder. It was windy in spots and I saw some intense sandstorms but in general a really great trip. 5X7 Deardorff with HP5 and FP4 in Xtol. I'm still liking the HP5 better.
